The Hallboy Comics crew was at the Chicago Comic Con this weekend. It was an awesome time. We would like to thank everyone who came past our booth.

Hallboy Comics will be in Booth # 3315 Come see me, Writer Lamorris Richmond,  and artist Juan Arevallo  who will be at the table promoting our Oya project. more about Oya: Hallboy Comics' new character Oya makes her Chicago Comic Con debut in a stunning 18x24 poster by series artist Juan Arevalo. The ancient gods who created the Earth — The Orisha, are returning after two thousand years of self-exile and desire to see New Oyo, the golden city of their descendents and followers, rejoin the family of man and live in peaceful co-habitation. To herald this event one of their own, Oya, goddess of wisdom and war, is reborn on the planet and is charged with guiding the Yoruba people and re-establishing a spiritual based religion on a world where man’s science is the only truth. Oya’s mission sees her answering the prayers of the faithful, and administering swift justice on their behalf but the leaders of the world have a different outlook and view Oya’s escapades as those of an aggressive nation with a science hero run amuck. Now Oya, whose own powers and spirit-based technology appear as magic, must become a world leader, shepherd the people who clamor for her guidance and defend New Oyo from invaders still seeking to unlock the secrets of the highest science there is — the technology of gods! I went to C2E2 this weekend. It was an awesome time.
I took photos. It was a great time. I met a lot of cool people this weekend and spent time with my man Lamorris.

Hey there

I have had little time for updates.

I have been hard at work preparing for Heroes Con down in North Carolina.

I should be debuting my first Ashcan which is the closest I have come to putting a book out.

Fingers crossed, there were some delays with the printer.

I will be in the small press section with my man Terry aka Thudd!

And my lovely Fiancé will be accompanying me.

I am really jazzed about this con stuff. I always wanted to do this and now I am.

More to come when I get a moment to sit down for longer than 20 minutes.

On My way to ECBACC

I am on my way to the East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention.

a.k.a. the ECBACC!

I look forward to meeting many wonderful people, and networking a little with like minded creators.

I am taking a plane, from Columbus, which means a 2 hour drive to get there, and also means a 2 hour drive home when it is all over. I have a friend’s wedding to go to so that will cost me time tonight before I make the trip.

There is a good possibility that I will have no sleep before I hit the con, or only the type of sleep you get on an airplane.

I am really jazzed about it!
